- Author of Nasal Translations - making connections with smell and scent in pop culture, arts, history, literature, science, nature, daily life. An Interdisciplinarian Synthesizer – making connections where others may miss the bridge. My writing and art are augmented by a life in the performing, fine, and healing arts. Beginning when young, my training includes the classical, modern, experimental, improvisational, multi-media. Workshops, Classes, Private/Semi-Private Sessions include: Entertaining Your Sense of Smell, Make the Invisible Visible, Improvisations/ Theater Games, Playfulness, Meditations: in Movement / Repose, Dynamic Flexibility, Yoga Preparations/ Transitions, Trance Dance (non-drug induced), Left/Right Integration, Waking/Sleeping Dreams, Spark the Imagination. My name, inherited from mom and grandma, derives from Lurana: Enticer of the Light, which amuses me with its mythical dimensions. With an acute sense of smell, I’ve been stopping to smell things since I was a kid. ~lastor
