I just brushed the silvery green leaves of my rue plant which emits topnotes of diesel fuel and coconut perhaps karo karounde.A powerful plant, the oil an abortifacient used by midwives of old. Delicate looking it emits scent quickly upon the lightest touch, perhaps a warning to certain insects.
